I think its time for a new record. What do you think? I have been writing a lot of new songs lately. Also, I have been writing with a bunch of other musicians and friends. Some really great subjects and stories told through these new songs. This record is going to be like nothing I have ever done before. More upbeat groovin tracks for your listening pleasure! Not quite sure what I’m going to name the album yet…hmmmm, I think its to early to tell. My producer and I have been doing a lot of pre-production! I promise you that you will hear some new music soon. So stay tuned and be sure to check back!

Some of you might have heard of the new event at the Stone Pony called Feel Good Thursdays. If you haven’t then what are you waiting for?! Feel Good Thursdays is an event that myself put together to gather all types of people together for a killer time. Its almost like a little festival. We have all types of great venders set up with Art, Clothing, Jewelry, and food, not to mention all the great music. Two of them have past already and each night was a great success in their own way. Thank you to all the bands who joined me on stage. The next one is coming up soon! June 24th @ the Stone Pony with Tor Miller Band, Up The Chain and Only Living Boy. This night will be a celebration of leaving high school and out into the music world. The next one after that is July 8th with Matt Wade, Rachel Platten and Like Trains and Taxis. Can’t wait to see some new faces!

If you have not seen already, I just posted a brand new music video for the song “Lifted”. Shot and edited by my own brother Kyle Mumford. He did a great job capturing the moment. We found a really rare, crazy location to shoot the video! No not really, we actually just shot it in my bedroom. It was a blast making the video, all of my good friends were their kickin it like we always do. The video for “Lifted” was actually just added to http://music.aol.com/. Quincy Mumford Band is proud to announce that we will be playing at GATHERING OF THE VIBES 2010! We are very excited to share the Main Stage with some of my favorite bands, like Primus, Umphrey’s Mcgee, Damien Marley & Nas, Jimmy Cliff, Keller Williams, Dark Star Orchestra, just to name a Few. Welcome to the new and improved QuincyMumford.com! We’ve got lots of exciting and wonderful things to share with all of you, and with the summer coming up we thought it would be the perfect time to completely revamp our website with something new and fresh. We just got back from a great tour down south, and as the weather gets warmer we’ll be making appearances at venues and festivals all over the East Coast. We’re working on some great dates in particular – a new event called Feel Good Thursdays at The Stone Pony, a show with Donovan Frankenreiter, and various others.
